Milestones Early Learning Cootamundra provides nurturing, high-quality child care and early education for children aged 0–5 years in a close-knit, community-focused environment. Conveniently located at 54 Centenary Avenue and open Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, our long day care centre is a trusted part of the Cootamundra community.
What sets our centre apart is the strength of our team — many of our educators, including our Centre Manager, have been part of this service for over a decade. This long-term dedication creates a consistent, stable environment where children feel truly safe, supported, and known.
Our engaging indoor and outdoor learning spaces, including a well-loved playground and veggie garden, provide the perfect backdrop for fun, exploration, and learning. We follow the Lifelong Learning Curriculum — Australia’s most advanced early education framework — offering rich experiences in STEM, literacy, language, creativity, and sustainability.

Meet Jessica Lambert, the dedicated Centre Director at Milestones Early Learning Cootamundra. With 10 years of experience in early childhood education and a Diploma in Children's Services, Jessica is passionate about helping children develop lifelong skills and preparing them for school. She finds immense joy in watching children grow, achieve their goals, and thrive in a nurturing environment. Jessica believes in making a positive difference every day, and she loves to join in the fun, creating exciting and challenging experiences that inspire curiosity and learning.
At Milestones Cootamundra, Jessica and her team provide high-quality care that is rooted in strong relationships with children and families. The centre is known for its passionate, knowledgeable educators who bring individual strengths to the team, creating a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment. The centre’s focus on fun, exciting learning experiences helps children grow confidently as they prepare for their school journey.
Fun fact: Jessica’s love for caring extends beyond the classroom to her hobby farm, where she and her partner look after a variety of animals, including two camels, Charlie and Coco Pops. Just like children, these camels love cuddles and bring joy to Jessica’s life!

Nurturing Growth from 0–5 Years

Babies (0-1 years)
Healthy Beginnings Program

Toddlers (1-3 years)
Early Experiences Program
Inspired by the Abecedarian Approach, our toddler program emphasises language-rich interactions, such as conversational reading and learning games. These early experiences build the foundations for strong communication, social skills, and cognitive growth.
Preschool or Kindergarten (3-5 years)
School Readiness Program
