Nestled in the heart of the Scenic Rim, Milestones Canungra is a small, community-focused centre where children aged 0–5 are supported to learn, grow, and flourish in a familiar, nurturing environment. Families love our personalised approach, strong local ties, and the way we truly get to know every child and their unique learning journey.
Here, big adventures start in our backyard—whether it’s tending to the veggie patch, learning about composting and worm farming, or getting up close with scaly visitors during one of our exciting incursions! With regular yoga, music sessions through our Hey Dee Ho program, and plenty of open-ended play, there’s always something to spark curiosity.
Our educators are passionate locals who care deeply about the Canungra community and maintain close relationships with nearby schools, including Canungra State School, to support each child’s transition to big school.
Children bring their own lunchboxes each day, which gives families flexibility and helps little ones feel right at home during mealtimes.

At Milestones Early Learning, our team is the heart of our centre. Led by our dedicated Centre Manager, we’re proud to have a group of passionate, qualified educators who are committed to creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for every child in our care.
Our Centre Manager works closely with families to ensure a smooth and supportive enrolment experience, while also guiding the day-to-day operations of the centre with a strong focus on quality and consistency. Our educators bring a wealth of experience in early childhood education and are trained to deliver the exclusive Lifelong Learning Curriculum - Australia’s most advanced approach to early learning.
We believe in the power of meaningful relationships, and our team takes the time to get to know each child as an individual - supporting their unique strengths, interests, and developmental needs. Nurturing Growth from 0–5 Years
At Milestones, we offer more than just child care — we provide high-quality early education in a safe, nurturing environment for children aged six weeks to five years. Our experienced educators deliver age-specific programs designed to support each stage of development, helping children grow in confidence, curiosity, and capability every step of the way.
Babies (0-1 years)
Healthy Beginnings Program
Grounded in attachment theory and the relationship practices, this program focuses on building secure, responsive relationships between babies and their educators. With nurturing care and emotional attunement, we support babies’ overall wellbeing and development.
Toddlers (1-3 years)
Early Experiences Program
Inspired by the Abecedarian Approach, our toddler program emphasises language-rich interactions, such as conversational reading and learning games. These early experiences build the foundations for strong communication, social skills, and cognitive growth.
Preschool or Kindergarten (3-5 years)
School Readiness Program
