At Milestones Everton Park, we pride ourselves on being a true home away from home — a place where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Located on Rogers Parade East, our centre offers high-quality care and early education for children aged 0–5 years in a welcoming and family-focused environment.
What truly sets us apart is our incredible team. With five educators who have been with us for over a decade, and several more with years of dedicated service, our experienced team brings genuine passion, consistency, and care to everything they do. It’s this strong sense of continuity and commitment that families know and trust.
Our children enjoy learning through play in natural outdoor spaces, exploring sustainability with our worm farm, composting system, and community garden. We also hold regular clothes swaps to encourage community connection and mindful living.
We maintain close ties with local schools like McDowall State School and nearby community organisations, helping to support each child’s smooth transition to school and life beyond the early years. With nutritious meals prepared onsite and a government-approved kindergarten program, your child will be nurtured and inspired every step of the way.

Meet Our Team
Hi, I’m Tina Barbour, the proud Centre Manager at Milestones Early Learning Everton Park. My journey with this centre began back in 2010, when I joined the team as an unqualified assistant educator. While working, I completed my Certificate III and later my Diploma, which led me into a Lead Educator role. After returning from maternity leave in 2016, I stepped into the Assistant Centre Manager position, and in 2017, I was honoured to take on the role of Centre Manager — a role I’ve cherished ever since.
What I love most about working in early childhood education is that no two days are ever the same. I’m constantly inspired by the way children use their imaginations and bring their ideas to life — and the warm hugs are always a highlight!
What truly makes our centre special is our passionate, long-standing team — many of whom have been with us for over five or even ten years. Together, we’ve created a nurturing, home-like environment where strong, collaborative relationships with families are at the heart of everything we do. As the saying goes, “It takes a village to raise a child,” and we’re proud to be that village for our Everton Park community.

Nurturing Growth from 0–5 Years
At Milestones, we offer more than just child care — we provide high-quality early education in a safe, nurturing environment for children aged six weeks to five years. Our experienced educators deliver age-specific programs designed to support each stage of development, helping children grow in confidence, curiosity, and capability every step of the way.
Babies (0-1 years)
Healthy Beginnings Program
Grounded in attachment theory and the relationship practices, this program focuses on building secure, responsive relationships between babies and their educators. With nurturing care and emotional attunement, we support babies’ overall wellbeing and development.
Toddlers (1-3 years)
Early Experiences Program
Inspired by the Abecedarian Approach, our toddler program emphasises language-rich interactions, such as conversational reading and learning games. These early experiences build the foundations for strong communication, social skills, and cognitive growth.
Preschool or Kindergarten (3-5 years)
School Readiness Program
Through Project-Based Learning, children are encouraged to explore big ideas, solve problems, and collaborate with others. This hands-on, inquiry-driven approach develops critical thinking, independence, and a love of learning that lasts.
