Meet Our Team
My name is Emma Cocking, and I’m proud to lead the team at Milestones Riverstone Rise. With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and more than 23 years of experience, beginning as a trainee at just 17, I have devoted my career to creating nurturing, meaningful connections with children, families, and the wider community.
One of the things I love most about working in early childhood education is the lasting bonds that form far beyond the walls of the centre. It’s one of the greatest joys of my role to be out with my own family and run into children and families I’ve cared for over the years, greeting each other like old friends, sharing a smile, a conversation, and a genuine connection. These moments reinforce the trust, secure attachments, and deep relationships that I value so much.
At Milestones Riverstone Rise, we are incredibly proud of our strong commitment to community engagement, a focus that began as a goal in our centre philosophy and has grown into one of our greatest strengths. Our children regularly enjoy visits from the Fire Brigade, Police, and local Dental services, helping them feel connected, confident, and engaged with the world around them.
Our centre is safely nestled within a peaceful housing estate, away from busy roads and surrounded by beautiful parks and recreation areas. It’s the perfect environment for children to explore, play, and grow within nature.
