Meet Our Team
Hello, my name is Mae Duniam, and I’m proud to be the Centre Manager at Milestones Meridan Plains. With 18 years of experience in early childhood education, including 13 wonderful years here at Meridan Plains, I bring a deep passion and dedication to supporting children and their families. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and am committed to creating a nurturing and enriching environment for every child.
Research highlights the importance of a child’s first five years, and as part of Affinity Education Group, we embrace this through our Lifelong Learning Curriculum. Our goal is to help every child reach their full potential, setting them up for a bright educational future. I firmly believe that children are our future, and it’s a privilege to be part of their learning journey—providing them with a sense of belonging, security, and the freedom to explore the world around them.
As a parent myself, I understand the importance of finding the right environment and people to care for your child. I’m incredibly proud to lead our dedicated team in building strong partnerships with families and fostering meaningful connections with the children in our care. Together, we strive to make each family’s transition into our centre as smooth and positive as possible.

Nurturing Growth from 0–5 Years
At Milestones, we offer more than just child care — we provide high-quality early education in a safe, nurturing environment for children aged six weeks to five years. Our experienced educators deliver age-specific programs designed to support each stage of development, helping children grow in confidence, curiosity, and capability every step of the way.
Babies (0-1 years)
Healthy Beginnings Program
Grounded in attachment theory and the relationship practices, this program focuses on building secure, responsive relationships between babies and their educators. With nurturing care and emotional attunement, we support babies’ overall wellbeing and development.
Toddlers (1-3 years)
Early Experiences Program
Inspired by the Abecedarian Approach, our toddler program emphasises language-rich interactions, such as conversational reading and learning games. These early experiences build the foundations for strong communication, social skills, and cognitive growth.
Preschool or Kindergarten (3-5 years)
School Readiness Program
