Milestones Early Learning Ballan is a warm and welcoming childcare and kindergarten centre located on Simpson Street in the heart of Ballan, just minutes from the town centre and Ballan Train Station. Our centre supports families across Ballan, Gordon, Bungaree, Greendale and the wider Moorabool Shire, with convenient access to the Western Freeway for parents commuting to Bacchus Marsh, Ballarat or Melbourne.
Open Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, we provide nurturing early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, supporting local families through every stage of their child’s early learning journey.
At Milestones Ballan, our experienced educators create a safe and inspiring environment where children feel confident to explore, discover, and build friendships. With bright indoor classrooms, engaging outdoor play areas, and age-appropriate learning equipment, each day is filled with opportunities for creativity, curiosity, and meaningful development.

Many of our children continue their learning journey at nearby schools such as Ballan Primary School and Bacchus Marsh Grammar, and we work closely with families to help children feel confident and ready for this next step.
Children enjoy fresh, nutritious meals prepared onsite daily, and our outdoor environments encourage active play, exploration, and connection with nature - something families in the Ballan community truly value.

Hi, I’m Kim, the Centre Manager at Milestones Early Learning Ballan. I’ve been working in early childhood education for over 18 years and hold a Diploma in Early Childhood. I’m passionate about creating a happy, nurturing, inclusive, and safe environment where children, families, and educators can truly thrive.
I believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and be celebrated for who they are. One of the greatest joys of my role is watching children experience things for the first time, those proud little smiles when they master something new remind me why I love what I do.
It’s an honour to support each child’s learning journey, from their very first day right through to school readiness. I look forward to welcoming your family to our centre and supporting your child as they reach their own unique milestones.
