Milestones Early Learning Ballan is a warm and welcoming childcare and kindergarten centre located on Simpson Street in the heart of Ballan, just minutes from the town centre and Ballan Train Station. Our centre supports families across Ballan, Gordon, Bungaree, Greendale and the wider Moorabool Shire, with convenient access to the Western Freeway for parents commuting to Bacchus Marsh, Ballarat or Melbourne.
Open Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, we provide nurturing early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, supporting local families through every stage of their child’s early learning journey.
At Milestones Ballan, our experienced educators create a safe and inspiring environment where children feel confident to explore, discover, and build friendships. With bright indoor classrooms, engaging outdoor play areas, and age-appropriate learning equipment, each day is filled with opportunities for creativity, curiosity, and meaningful development.

Many of our children continue their learning journey at nearby schools such as Ballan Primary School and Bacchus Marsh Grammar, and we work closely with families to help children feel confident and ready for this next step.

My name is Alyssa, and I’m proud to be the Centre Manager at Milestones Early Learning Ballan. With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and 9 years of experience in the sector, I am passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive, families feel supported, and educators are empowered to do their best work.
What I love most about working in early childhood education is that no two days are ever the same. Every day brings new opportunities to support children as they learn and grow, build strong relationships with families, and lead a team of dedicated educators who genuinely care about making a difference. I find it incredibly rewarding to mentor educators, foster a positive centre culture, and see the impact that high-quality early learning has on children's confidence, development, and wellbeing.
