Meet Our Team
Hi, my name is Vanessa Pierce and I am the Centre Manager at Milestones Early Learning Soldiers Hill. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and I've worked in the sector for 27 years.
My passion for this incredible industry deepens with each passing day, particularly when I have the chance to support and mentor staff while fostering a safe, inspiring, and nurturing environment tailored to each child's evolving needs. I am privileged to work within the community I live in and be a part of a family's village to support and educate children. I joined Affinity Education Group, which owns all Milestones centres at large due to the Lifelong Learning Curriculum and what this offers children. I am a great supporter of Affinity's values which include: Having serious fun, creating shining stars, being completely connected, living the team spirit, and delivering outstanding professionalism. These values create an amazing work environment.
As the Centre Manager, I am given the opportunity daily to inspire and mentor the amazing team of educators at Milestones to ensure the best outcomes for children and their families.
I am passionate about being the voice for all children and their families who have entrusted us with their most precious assets. I support children as they begin their learning journey, encouraging and supporting children’s individual needs to develop a love of lifelong learning for the future.
We cultivate nurturing environments through practices like the Circle of Security and dedicated key educators, promoting inclusivity to embrace and welcome all children and families. My door is always open, ready to listen, and offer support as we collaborate to ensure the best possible outcomes for your child as they embark on their journey of life and learning.

Nurturing Growth from 0–5 Years
At Milestones, we offer more than just child care — we provide high-quality early education in a safe, nurturing environment for children aged six weeks to five years. Babies (0-1 years)
Healthy Beginnings Program
Grounded in attachment theory and the relationship practices, this program focuses on building secure, responsive relationships between babies and their educators. With nurturing care and emotional attunement, we support babies’ overall wellbeing and development.
Toddlers (1-3 years)
Early Experiences Program
Inspired by the Abecedarian Approach, our toddler program emphasises language-rich interactions, such as conversational reading and learning games. These early experiences build the foundations for strong communication, social skills, and cognitive growth.
Preschool or Kindergarten (3-5 years)
School Readiness Program
