My name is Kiera, and I hold a Diploma in early childhood education, bringing with me 12 years of experience in the field. For the past four years, I have been a proud member of the Milestones team, and I am thrilled to have recently stepped into the role of centre director. This position has been incredibly fulfilling, largely due to the support of my passionate and long-standing team.
Among the core values of Affinity, being completely connected resonates deeply with me. I am passionate about fostering an environment where collaboration, open communication, and the sharing of knowledge thrives, allowing us to bring out the best in each other and the families we serve.
In my personal life, I cherish spending time with my wonderful partner and our four fur babies. I typically spend my weekends exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the Southwest.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my career in early childhood education is the opportunity to nurture and support both educators and children as they grow, guiding them to reach their full potential. There is a sense of privilege that comes with observing a child's confidence flourish and building lasting, meaningful relationships with each of them. Having been with the company for an extended period, I have had the privilege of seeing nursery children evolve into confident preschoolers. Knowing that I have played a part in supporting this incredible journey is the reason why I have developed a deep love for this career path.
