Located in West End, just off Hugh Street, Milestones Early Learning The Lakes provides high-quality childcare and kindergarten for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, supporting families across West End, Aitkenvale, Hyde Park, Pimlico and central Townsville.
Open Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, our long day care centre offers flexible early education and care for busy local families.

Hello, my name is Melissa, and I’m proud to be the Centre Manager at Milestones Early Learning The Lakes in Townsville.
Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of growing my career at this wonderful centre, completing my Certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care along the way.
I’m passionate about creating a true home away from home for children and families — a place where everyone feels safe, supported and connected. Being part of a child’s early years and watching them grow in confidence and independence is something I value deeply.
