Milestones Early Learning Sunshine Beach
Milestones Early Learning Sunshine Beach participated in Mother's Day age-specific activities designed to engage our little learners whilst creating some fantastic mementoes for the children's mother figures for Mother's Day.
"Today at Milestones Sunshine Beach, we celebrated and honoured our mother's, stepmother's, aunties, grandmother's and all the special women in our lives."
The children have been working extremely hard to create beautiful mementoes for these special women." Shared the Milestones Sunshine Beach Team.

The Nursery engaging with different sensory experiences to create their special gift.
The Toddlers further explored their creative sides and captured photos of the little people as keepsakes for Mum's key ring and photo album.
In our Pre-Kindy Room, sustainability, creativity and serious fun are key components to collaborate and create bunches of flowers with toilet paper rolls, pipe cleaners and cutouts of the children's hands. Kindergarten put on their chef hats, picked up their paint pallet, baked delicious goods and created paintings to fill the memories on mum's fridge.
Milestones Early Learning Seven Hills
Milestones Early Learning Seven Hills held a family event on Friday, the 12th of May, with activities including providing a station which allowed the children to create beautiful cards for the mother figures in their lives.
Milestones Early Learning Tingalpa
Milestones Early Learning Tingalpa's Centre manager, Amy Owen, stated, "We had our Mother's Day morning tea, and it was such a big turnout."
The centre also included a Mother's Day raffle and food prepared by their Centre Cook!
Milestones Early Learning Warana
Milestones Early Learning Warana invited our families to join us for an afternoon tea on Friday, the 12th.
Eniko Kasza, Centre Manager for Milestones Early Learning Warana shared, “We had lovely music playing across the centre, platters for the families and experiences including threading, gluing, drawing and a photo booth set up.”
On their way-out families were given flowers, Mother’s Day colouring sheets and gifts prepared by their children. It was a lovely afternoon of families mingling and we received lots of lovely feedback for it.”

Milestones Early Learning Wamberal
Jessica De Kort, Centre Manager for Milestones Early Learning Wamberal, shared, "We hosted a Mother's Day Afternoon Tea celebrating the wonderful women in our community. Not only did the important women in the children's lives get to enjoy yummy treats made by our wonderful educators, but they also had the opportunity to get pampered by their little ones, make jewellery, play with playdough and capture the fun afternoon in the photo booth."
It is important for us as a centre to make time to celebrate these moments; we have such a strong community of mothers and women at Milestones Wamberal that we make sure we celebrate and show appreciation with events like our Mother's Day Afternoon Tea."

Milestones Early Learning Point Cook
Milestones Early Learning Point Cook held a Mother's Day event with their families and children, where they participated in some pampering as well as lunch and some creativity-based activities.
Pajeet Kaur, Centre Manager for Milestones Early Learning Point Cook, shared her favourite Mother's Day Quote, "Mothers are like buttons. They hold it all together.” I am sure we can all agree.
Milestones Early Learning Tarneit
Milestones Early Learning Tarneit included their children and families to participate in Mother's Day themed activities on the 12th of May, including an extensive morning tea spread and a beautiful area for parents to interact with their children and take some lovely photos to remember the day.
Milestones Early Learning Ringwood
Milestones Early Learning Ringwood provided breakfast on the go for their busy mums, and their educators celebrated with the children, wearing pink and purple as a symbol of Mother's Day recognition.
Milestones Early Learning Bairnsdale Dawson Street Campus
Milestones Early Learning Bairnsdale Dawson Street Campus also created a progressive afternoon tea for our families to grab a treat on the go.
Hayley Loveday, Assistant Centre Manager, shared, "We realise how hard it could be for some families to have time off to attend a Morning Tea in our classrooms, so as a centre, all classrooms from babies to Kindergarten have pitched in and created a special grab and go afternoon tea for our families to enjoy."

Milestones Early Learning Swan View
Milestones Early Learning Swan View spoilt their families and children with a pamper area, bracelet making station and other creative activities to get both the children and families involved. The toddler room also assisted with making some yummy cakes and treats.
Milestones Early Learning Yokine
Milestones Early Learning Yokine organised a lovely ‘Afternoon on the Go’ as a lot of the Mums at the Yokine centre were working or busy with older children’s school events.
Healthy choices of sweet treats were provided, and special gifts including flowerpots, photo frames, feet prints, and love heart handmade cards were also created by the children with assistance from their educators.

Milestones Early Learning Quinns Rocks
Milestones Early Learning Quinns Rocks, Isabella Bramley, Early Childhood Teacher, shared, "Mother's Day is a celebration of love and family. Families are created differently, and we want to celebrate the people in our lives that fill the role of mother/caregiver. We have been learning about what different families look like and being thankful for the love that we can share with ours."
